The Brief
SME Shop is built for small business owners, and advice for founders only lands when it comes from people who have done it. The film had to put real founders on screen and make them easy to believe.
The Idea
Film founders where they built their businesses. A founder talks with her hands in her own office, the Ruff 'n' Tumble sign right behind her, so the proof is in the shot before she finishes her first sentence.
How We Made It
The interviews are set in real workplaces rather than a studio: a painted canvas, a floor lamp, plants and the brand's own signage stay in the background. The framing is wide enough to keep that world in, and the picture runs letterboxed. The moment we show is her mid-gesture and smiling, warm and direct, one founder talking to another.
