The Brief
W Bar is a dark, intimate bar with a food menu to match, and its signature drinks are made to be looked at: a shimmering purple gin, a strawberry highball. In a low-lit room, food and drink are easy to lose in the shadows.
The Idea
We kept everything on black. Food and drinks sit against dark gloss so colour is the only thing that comes forward: the purple shimmer, the red of the strawberries, the green of the avocado.
How We Made It
The food reel stays very close and low, with the background reduced to soft neon: shrimp tacos with purple cabbage and avocado, lime squeezed over a bowl of crisp bites, peppered beef lifted on a fork. Each signature drink gets its own reel, built step by step on a reflective black bar: ice, pour, stir, garnish. The purple one is dressed with grapefruit and dried flowers; the strawberry one starts with a splash and ends with a mint sprig and a hand lifting it out of frame.
