Interface design and onboarding flow for an AI platform.
The Brief
Kuuza lets sales and service teams rehearse real calls against a simulated customer, then get scored and coached on how they did. It was heading to investors as a pre-launch product, so the platform had to make a new way of training feel familiar from the first click, for a solo rep and for a manager with a whole team.
The Idea
Ask one question at the door. Onboarding opens with "How will you be training today?", and the answer, for myself or for my team, decides which workspace you get. Everything after that is built for day one, when a new team has no data yet.
How We Made It
We kept the product in one dark charcoal world with a deep red glow and a single red for every action, so the next step is always the brightest thing on the screen. A five-item sidebar (Dashboard, Playbooks, Scenarios, Team, Analytics) holds the whole app. The dashboard was designed for its empty state too: a readiness score waiting at 0%, quick actions to invite members or start a playbook, and plain notes where performance will appear. Playbooks sit as cards tagged sales, support or retention, and Analytics turns practice into readable bars, from objection handling to empathy and tone, with the team's top struggle areas flagged beside them. The website and pitch deck carry the same look, from "Born in Africa. Built for the World." to "Simulate Today. Dominate Tomorrow."
