The Brief
Bella by BRISK gave the brunch-and-bar venue a pasta night with its own look: red gingham, candlelight, spaghetti and red wine. A themed night inside an existing venue has to feel like an occasion, or people read it as just another menu item.
The Idea
We sold the evening, not the dish. The reels are about guests at a gingham table, ordering, twirling, toasting and laughing, with the Bella titles saying the rest: 'Savour every twirl moment'.
How We Made It
The main reel is shot close and warm, faces lit gold, cheese falling onto the pasta, a glass of red raised in soft focus, then a wide of the whole room set for the night. A second reel is one locked overhead frame on the gingham as the table fills: the order taken, plates arriving, wine poured, hands meeting in a toast. The bar gets its own piece, with rose petals on the rim, a printed design on the foam and a closing line, 'Fancy a drink?'.
