The Brief
Big Belly sells burgers, ribs, wings and loaded fries, all wrapped in loud red-and-white branded paper. Fast food is bought on appetite, and on a phone that appetite has a few seconds to kick in. The food had to look as bold as the packaging.
The Idea
We built a red room for it. A red backdrop and the brand's own wrap paper as the tabletop, so every frame says Big Belly before a logo appears, and a burger gets built from the bun up in front of you.
How We Made It
Shot on a clean studio set with a red sweep behind the food. A gloved hand stacks the burger layer by layer: sauce from a squeeze bottle, lettuce, patty, tomato, sticky onions, then the lid and the skewer. In between we cut to glaze dripping off ribs, sauce running over loaded fries and hands opening wraps of wings towards the lens. One reel carries the whole menu, so the edit moves fast and lands on the finished burger.
